Loan Broker
A loan broker is an intermediary that connects borrowers with lenders but does not itself provide the credit. Brokers may work with a panel of lenders and submit your application to the most suitable one based on your profile. In South Africa, credit brokers must be registered with the NCR and comply with the National Credit Act. Legitimate brokers do not charge upfront fees — they earn a commission from the lender once a loan is successfully arranged. A broker that asks for payment before placing your loan is almost certainly operating fraudulently. RandCash is a comparison platform, not a broker — we show you lenders to apply to directly, without submitting your data on your behalf.
Usage Examples
"A broker might submit your application to African Bank, Capitec, and Atlas Finance simultaneously and present you with the best offer received."
